With the Wine & Spirits Business Lab, a unique research facility using experimental economics methodology, part of the School of Wine & Spirits Business (SWSB), BSB researchers conduct behavioural studies and are engaged in many national and EU-funded research projects.
Building on a strong publication record in the domains of behavioural research and especially behavioural economics, BSB will contribute in various tasks and WP within the Valereco project.
More specifically, BSB:
Leads WP2 – Behavioural changes in the value chain towards legumes, and its tasks T2.2 – Market penetration and acceptance of leguminous crops, and T2.3 – Behavioural design strategies to study consumers’ attitudes and promote healthier and more sustainable diets.
Participates in T1.5 – Synergies with other projects, T2.1 – Status quo analysis: Perceptions and knowledge systems of supply chain actors and consumers, T2.4 – Behavioural design strategies to leverage the adoption of legumes by farmers, T5.2 – Implementation of a digital legume information hub, T6.1 – Dissemination, exploitation & communication plan, T6.2 – Boosting stakeholder & ecosystem engagement, T6.3 – Training & capacity building, T7.1 – Administrative and Financial Management, T7.2 – Risk Management and Quality Assurance, T7.3 – Data Management, T7.4 – Ethics and gender dimension.
