This October, VALERECO will take part in Synergy Days 2025, the leading European event connecting digital innovation and the agri-food sector.
Hosted by the SmartAgriHubs Community and supported by the AgData partnership, the event will bring together policymakers, researchers, digital innovation hubs, and agri-tech pioneers to explore the future of digital agriculture through interactive sessions, showcases, and collaborative workshops.
VALERECO’s Presence
At Booth 6, VALERECO will present its vision for a biodiversity-anchored EU-wide legume ecosystem. Visitors will discover how the project promotes the valorization of ecosystem services provided by legume crops and supports the transition to sustainable and resilient agri-food systems across Europe.
Pitch Session
On Day 2 (22 October, 10:15–10:45), VALERECO will take the stage to showcase how legumes and the valorization of their ecosystem services are driving innovation at the intersection of biodiversity, agriculture, and sustainability. The presentation will highlight the project’s research activities, field demonstrations, and the collaborative approach uniting partners across Europe.

1. Multidisciplinary Living Labs for Agro-Food Innovation
Co-organised by Hungry EcoCities & VALERECO
This workshop will explore how Living Labs can serve as dynamic environments where science, technology, and policy converge to accelerate agro-food innovation. Participants will discuss collaborative approaches that enable sustainability-driven experimentation and systemic change.
2. Enhance Biodiversity through Financing Agroecological Innovation
Co-organised by BIOFIN-EU & VALERECO
This session will focus on the financial mechanisms and policy frameworks that can strengthen biodiversity through agroecological innovation. The discussion will bring together researchers, investors, and practitioners to identify opportunities for scaling biodiversity-positive agricultural practices.
